The golf course

Designed by Bernhard Langer, this 18-hole, par-72 championship course in Penning is one of the few in Germany to have hosted PGA European Tour events, including the Porsche European Open (2015/2016) and the Paul Lawrie Matchplay (2017). Spanning 80 hectares, two varied 9-hole loops wind through the Rott River meadows. Water comes into play on 13 holes, highlighted by the striking island greens at holes 9 and 18. Long par 3s, strategic bunkers, and challenging doglegs demand precision, while immaculate hand-mown fairways and greens ensure top playing conditions year-round.
