Golf course: Hermanus Golf Club
The golf course
The Hermanus Golf Club is one of the most popular golf courses on South Africa's famous Garden Route. Situated between the Fernkloof Nature Reserve and the picturesque Walker Bay, the club offers not only sporting quality, but also a unique natural landscape.
The 27-hole course was designed by renowned architects Robert Grimsdell and Peter Matkovich. Well-kept fairways, strategically placed bunkers, water hazards and varied greens ensure an exciting golfing experience - for beginners and experienced players alike.
Especially impressive: in the months from June to November, whales can often be observed directly from the course while you tee off between the mountains and the ocean.
With an elegant clubhouse, practice facilities, a pro store and an inviting restaurant, Hermanus Golf Club not only offers great golf, but also warm hospitality and first-class service.
A highlight for golf lovers who appreciate nature and a sporting challenge.
