Golf course: Templepatrick Golf Course
The golf course
The golf course on the grounds of the DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast Templepatrick is officially called Templepatrick Golf Course, but is also often referred to as Kingfisher Golf Course - named after the Kingfisher Country Estate on which it is located. Both names refer to the same 18-hole, par-72 championship course.
The course covers around 220 hectares of parkland and was designed by former European Tour players David Jones and David Feherty. With a length of over 6,400 meters and built to USGA specifications, it offers excellent playing conditions all year round.
Characterized by varied fairways, large oak trees, water hazards and strategically placed bunkers that come into play on 13 of the 18 holes. These elements make the course medium to challenging and ideal for players who value precision and tactics.
