Culinary Highlights

Valencia is the home of the famous Valencian paella, traditionally made with chicken, rabbit and green beans. Near the coast, delicious fideuà (pasta paella with seafood) and esgarraet (paprika and cod salad) are served. The sweet horchata de chufa, best served with fartons, is ideal as a refreshment. Wine lovers enjoy strong red wines from Utiel-Requena, while the sweet specialty turrón rounds off the culinary experience.

Arrival & Infrastructure on Site

Valencia is easily accessible via Valencia Airport (VLC), which offers numerous international and national connections. Alternatively, Alicante Airport (ALC) is around two hours away. Thanks to the AVE high-speed train, cities such as Madrid and Barcelona can also be reached quickly.

The region has a well-developed road network, making a rental car the best choice for flexible exploration. Within the city of Valencia, buses, streetcars and a modern metro make getting around easy. The tourist infrastructure is excellent, with first-class golf courses, luxurious resorts and a variety of restaurants and leisure activities.
