The golf course

The Millennium Golf Course Vilamoura is one of the most popular courses in the Algarve and part of the renowned Dom Pedro Golf Collection. It was opened in 2000 and designed by architect Martin Hawtree. The course offers 18 varied holes with wide fairways, gently undulating terrain and generous greens that are attractive to both beginners and experienced golfers alike.

The mixture of open fairways in the first part and wooded sections with pine trees and cork oaks at the back is particularly characteristic. This combination makes for a varied game and requires precise shots and good course management. Water comes into play on some holes and gives the course additional excitement without making it overly difficult.

Thanks to its harmonious design, manicured fairways and tranquil location near Vilamoura, the Millennium Golf Course is considered one of the most balanced and enjoyable golf courses in the Algarve - ideal for relaxed rounds in a Mediterranean setting.
