Galgorm Castle Golf Club is located in Ballymena, County Antrim in Northern Ireland, and is one of the most beautiful parkland golf courses in the country. The 18-hole championship course stretches across the historic grounds of Galgorm Castle, which dates back to 1618, and offers an impressive combination of nature, history and sporting challenge. Old trees, rolling hills and two rivers - the Maine and the Braid - characterize the landscape and ensure varied, scenic courses.

The course was designed in 1997 by renowned golf course architect Simon Gidman and is characterized by wide fairways, strategically placed bunkers and numerous water hazards. The natural layout, which blends harmoniously into the surroundings, is particularly appealing. Several lakes and ponds, including a characteristic oxbow of the river at hole 14, demand precise play and clever club selection. The course measures around 6,500 meters from the championship tees and plays as a par 72.

One of the most beautiful holes is the short par 4 at hole 4, which requires tactical thinking, as well as the par 3 holes 7 and 14, where water comes into play and precision is crucial. The 18th hole offers a spectacular finish with a pond next to the green and a raised spectator area that creates a tournament atmosphere.
