The golf course

The Eppan Golf Club, known as The Blue Monster, is one of the most modern golf courses in South Tyrol. The 18-hole course (par 71) was designed by architect Thomas Himmel and opened in 2015. It owes its name to the numerous water hazards that characterize the game and make every round varied.

The terrain is predominantly flat and blends harmoniously into the landscape between the Adige river, vineyards and orchards. Wide fairways make it easy for beginners to get started, while the cleverly placed lakes, ponds and bunkers also provide tactical challenges for experienced golfers. The course therefore offers fair conditions for beginners as well as exciting challenges for advanced players.

In addition to the course, there are generous practice facilities, including a driving range with covered tees as well as putting and pitching greens. The Golf Academy Eppan offers professional training programs for all skill levels.

The modern clubhouse with restaurant and panoramic terrace invites you to linger after your round and offers a magnificent view of the South Tyrolean mountains. With its combination of sophisticated course design, modern infrastructure and impressive natural scenery, The Blue Monster is one of the highlights of the South Tyrol golf region.
