Golf course: Siam Country Club - Plantation Course
The golf course
The Siam Country Club - Plantation Course in Pattaya, Thailand, is an outstanding 27-hole golf course designed in 2008 by renowned golf architects Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley. It covers a former sugar cane, tapioca and pineapple growing area, giving the three 9-hole loops their names: Sugar Cane, Tapioca and Pineapple. The course is known for its challenging design with long tees, blind shots, elevated greens, undulating fairways and deep bunkers. With a total length of up to 7,495 yards, it is one of the longest golf courses in Thailand.
A particular highlight is the first "triple green" in Asia - a huge green measuring over 20,000 square feet that is shared by three holes.
The elevated location of the course offers breathtaking views of Pattaya and the Gulf of Thailand. The sea breeze also ensures pleasant playing conditions.
