The golf course

The Lungau / Katschberg Golf Club is located in St. Michael im Lungau at around 1,050 meters above sea level and is surrounded by an impressive mountain backdrop. The course offers an 18-hole, par 72 championship course, designed by renowned designer Keith Preston, as well as a 9-hole, par 3 short course, which is ideal for beginners, shorter rounds or targeted training.

The fairways are predominantly flat in the valley of the River Mur and are harmoniously embedded in nature. Wide fairways, manicured greens and several ponds give the course a varied and strategic character. This makes it suitable for ambitious golfers and recreational players alike.

The course includes spacious practice facilities with a driving range, putting, chipping and pitching greens as well as practice bunkers. The clubhouse with restaurant and sun terrace invites you to linger after your round and offers a sweeping view of the idyllic surroundings.
