Golf course: Miramar Golf Club
The golf course
The Miramar Golf Club was founded in 1932 and is one of the most traditional golf courses in Portugal. The 9-hole course is located directly on the Atlantic coast between Porto and Espinho and runs through a natural dune landscape with a typical links character. With a length of around 2,960 meters (par 35), it is compact but challenging. Wind from the sea, narrow fairways, cleverly placed bunkers and partly split greens demand precise play. Particularly striking are the par-3 at hole 2 with a split green and the final par-4 at hole 9 with narrow playing lines and a well-defended green. In addition to the course, the club offers a driving range, putting green, pro store, restaurant, changing rooms and rental and service facilities for trolleys and clubs.
The combination of coastal location, sporting challenge and traditional club atmosphere makes Miramar a popular destination for golfers of all abilities.
