The golf course

The Chain is the latest, fourth golf course at Streamsong Resort, designed by the well-known team of architects Coore & Crenshaw. The 19-hole short course deliberately breaks with tradition: Instead of fixed par handicaps and classic tee markers, there are dragline chains in the ground to mark the tee-off area. Match play is preferred, with the winner of one hole determining the teeing ground for the next.

The course is divided into a compact 6-hole round through a picturesque oak grove with distances ranging from 50 to 153 meters and a 13-hole round with lengths of up to 293 yards, which also includes shots over water. The hilly terrain, natural differences in altitude, sandy areas and water hazards make for visually impressive and varied challenges. The experience is rounded off by the nearby short game area "The Bucket", which invites players of all levels to enjoy a quick, sociable round.
