The monsoon winds, which divide the weather into rainy and dry seasons, characterize the tropical climate on Koh Samui. The rainy season lasts from September to December, it does not rain continuously, but several times a day with heavy, mostly short showers. The best time to visit is from January to June, as the weather is usually dry and pleasant during these months. The months of July and August are also good for a visit, although it can get a little humid during this time. Temperatures are constant all year round. Both during the day and at night they are around 30 degrees.

Koh Samui is easy to reach by plane, with all international connections via Bangkok Airport. There are regular domestic flights to the island from there. The local infrastructure is good. There are no buses, but there are cheap cabs available around the clock, which can be easily booked using an app. Alternatively, many resorts offer their own shuttle service to take guests comfortably to the island's golf courses and sights.
