The golf course

The De Zalze Golf Course is located on the grounds of the De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate in Stellenbosch, one of South Africa's most famous wine regions. The 18-hole golf course was designed by Peter Matkovich and blends harmoniously into the natural landscape of vines, oak avenues and river courses.

The course offers a varied mix of challenging fairways and strategically placed water hazards. Particularly striking is the Blaauwklippen River, which runs through parts of the course and provides playful challenges. Golfers can enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards.

De Zalze is not only scenic, but also challenging - ideal for players of all handicaps. The modern clubhouse has a restaurant, a terrace with panoramic views, a pro store and changing areas. Guests can also make use of golf carts, practice facilities and golf lessons.
