The golf course

Bernhard Langer's first design for the Golf Resort Bad Griesbach is considered an all-round masterpiece. The 18-hole championship course combines everything that characterizes the resort: magnificent views, holes that blend harmoniously into the hilly landscape, a varied and sporty design, excellent maintenance and the cosy, rustic manor house as a popular meeting place.

Brunnwies is particularly popular with recreational golfers and was ranked among the "Top 20" golf courses in Europe by Golf World. It is characterized by extensive rough, strategically placed water hazards and heavily undulating, hand-mown greens. The 18 holes meander through the gentle hills of the Rottal valley, with only two climbs leading to spectacular panoramas and playing highlights: Hole 7 with a wide tee shot into the valley, the par 3 on hole 14, which is around 50 meters lower, and the challenging dogleg finish on hole 18.
