Best Journey Time

The best time to visit Alvor is usually between May and October, when the weather is sunny and warm and the beaches and golf courses offer ideal conditions.

In spring (April-May), nature awakens, temperatures are usually between 18 and 24 °C and it is much quieter than in the high season - perfect for golf, walks and excursions. Summer months (June-August) bring plenty of sunshine, temperatures around 26-30 °C and a lively beach life, ideal for beach vacations and water sports. Early fall (September-October) is particularly popular, as the sea is still pleasantly warm, the days remain sunny and the number of visitors decreases.

For golfers, March to May and September to November are considered the best months to play, as it is pleasantly warm but not too hot and the courses are in excellent condition.
